Prudential Global Short Duration High Yield Fund, Inc.

To provide a high level of current income.*

The Fund invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of below investment grade bonds that:

  • Focuses the majority of its holdings on global, short duration, higher-rated high yield bonds.
  • Emphasizes bonds slated to mature within the next five years and that offer a weighted average duration of three years or less.

Global short duration higher rated high yield bonds provide the potential for:

  • Competitive yield in this historically low interest rate environment
  • Income benefits of high yield investing with less risk then the overall high yield category
  • Attractive risk-adjusted returns compared to broad high yield and stocks
  • Potential protection from rising interest rates
  • Exposure to a growing segment of the high yield bond market

The Fund is managed by Prudential Fixed Income, since 1875 a credit-research-driven fixed income manager with a heritage of managing risk. It brings its deeply experienced Leveraged Finance Team to the Prudential Global Short Duration High Yield Fund.
